HUGE Gray Ice 7 ft Formica Chrome Dinette Set w/8 Pleated Chairs

A great vintage Formica top kitchen table dinette set. This RARE top measures ~36" x 60" plus (2) 11.75" insert leaf boards. Opens up to a total of 7 FEET long !!! There is NO color variation (fading) between the top and one of the inserts. One insert is slightly darker. That usually happens from exposure to direct sunlight. The Formica top was restored, polished, and sealed per Armstrong/Formica guidelines. Formica is in EXCELLENT overall condition. There are some edge chips, mostly on the leaves, but the Formica itself is solid.

The table legs are BRAND NEW Vitro commercial quality pieces. Side apron is high-gloss polished aluminum, and is in great shape. It features a dual red inlaid accent stripe. Also includes (8) BRAND NEW chrome leg chair frames. Original padded backs and bottoms have been re-upholstered with reproduction gray and red cracked ice vinyl in the original pleated back design, and also feature a chrome handle. New padding was also installed. The chrome tacks that trim the edges are also new. Original style (oval head, slotted) stainless steel screws were also installed to maintain original appearance, and be maintenence free.

These chair frames and table legs were made by VITRO, the last remaining American company that was in the Chrome dinette business back in the 50's. (The company has been around even longer than that.) They carry a manufacturers warranty, and are commercial grade. None of that flimsy import stuff here! If you need extra chairs, they can be purchased for an additional $150.00 - $190.00 each EACH.

This set can be picked up locally in the York, PA area, or can be delivered for a nominal fee, depending on location.
